In the city of Campeche, a few days prior to October 31, an altar contest is held throughout the day; state schools and municipal businesses participate. Along calle 59, passing through the Plaza de la República and extending to the side of our hotel elaborate altars featuring creative concepts related to Hanal Pixán and the Day of the Dead are erected.
On this walk, you'll see people dressed as catrinas and catrines, as well as talents from the region singing typical songs of the occasion, among other activities.
